Turning to my Japan obsession and the woodblock print, here's a small treasure I found on YouTube showing an intimate look into the almost surreal amount of work of creating these prints, and the many layers of masterful artistry involved in an intense and fruitful collaboration: the traveling artist himself, and the masterful engraver and printer.
For each woodblock print that we get to see, we can safely assume that there were at least three masters at work.
