I made it to the 40s club.
I've been as privileged as few people on this Earth can ever dream to be, and I've come as close to total freedom and infinite free time as a human being can dream of. I'm happy and proud to know that I've put all of that time to use wisely, for achieving my dreams. Everything I've ever done has been started and finished in the last 15 years. Most of the things I've started even later, at 30 and beyond.
If I could get another 10 years, I'll put all of that time to use to improve upon what I've so hardly gained and become a better artist. Maybe even a more decent human being. I've no idea what I want to do with my life beyond that, and I am absolutely fine with it. I know I want to see more of the world, always, I want to keep painting and playing an instrument, and I want to share all of that with the world. Maybe some kid will be inspired to pick up a brush or work out on his/her own dreams (99% of life is luck and circumstances before your work, but the downside is you have to put the work in first and hope you'll have the circumstances to use it, so yes, you may need to work for those dreams), maybe some words will be exactly what someone else needs to hear in that specific moment. Who knows what happens with the things we choose to put out into the world? P.S.: The ignorant, the cynics, the staring cows, and the dead inside-out zombies should never stop you from acting. They killed the kid and the dreams long ago, they're "adults", and adults are very, very boring, and so are their big ego games.
I wish for 10 more years, but if all is about to end tomorrow, no problem, my life is complete, and everything has been a bonus for the longest time.
Thank you for your kind words, I wish the same unto you, all of you, every day of the year. It's your birthday every extra morning you get to wake up, it's another chance to do that 0.00001% that may eventually compound and change everything (there's nothing better than doing it anyway). Go get it!
